Meet Leanne

For 25 years, I've worked as a beauty therapist and aromatherapist, witnessing firsthand how the right ingredients can transform not just skin, but confidence and wellbeing. I thought I knew skincare inside and out, until menopause arrived and changed everything.

Suddenly, my skin became reactive, sensitive, and developed rosacea. Products I'd trusted for years no longer worked. I found myself reading ingredient lists with growing concern, wondering what I was really putting on my skin. The more I researched, the more I realized I needed complete transparency and control over what touched my face.

This journey led me back to school when I decided to do a diploma in natural skincare formulating. During this time it opened my eyes to the remarkable synergy between nature and science. I discovered that effective skincare doesn't need to be complicated or filled with questionable ingredients. It needs to be intentional, transparent, and rooted in both botanical wisdom and scientific evidence.

Alkemi was born in 2025 from this revelation. The name itself speaks to transformation—the ancient art of alchemy, where base elements become something precious. That's what I want for everyone who struggles with their skin: transformation through simple, trustworthy, effective formulations.
